You grow up watching love movies and always being told that love is the greatest thing. And that one day you are going to grow up, fall in love and get married. Well my good friend and teamate who I will not mention by name (SIMONE) does not believe in love. And to me that is the most depressing pesismistic view ever! To think that my one true love is not out there is the most depressing thing ever. It just is. Becuase you grow up watching all these love movies and their happy endings and to think when you are a little kid that that you may not get your own happy ending eventually, just makes me want to cry :( haha. I have never met anyone who does not believe in love. What do you guys think? Does love exist? Do you think everyone has just one specific person they have to find? Or are there many? Or none at all? Do you think people just settle these days and thats why divorce rates are so high?
Anyways if you are a cute single male who enjoys long walks on the beach, the sunset and stars, and reading poetry...you know where to find me!!

lexie you are too funy but maybe simone didn't find the right person for her not to believe in that or maybe she has been hurt too many times. Or it could depend on how she was brought up.I Don't know but I definitly believe that there is love out there for everyone.

ReplyDeleteI don't believe there is a such thing as a true love someone can find love in multiple people it all depends on timing and when you meet. The more you open yourself to love the more likely I feel you'll find love.

WHAT??? To me love is real and lexie love or "true love" to me is a judgement cal. What you may call love i might just call attraction. Love is a tough topic and a sticky situation. I mean have you ever been in what you think is love but days, weeks, or months later it is nothing even close anymore? For me i think Love is real...just hard to find, but once you fnd it you have to realize it quick before it's gone.
ReplyDeleteWell Trist yes I have been in situations like that before but I have also been in a situation where I believe it was love. And even though its been over a year and a half I still miss him everyday and am constantly thinking about him. Is that love? If they feeling never goes away?
ReplyDeleteI think it's whatevr you feel it is. I don't think other people can tell when someone else is in love. I can tell YOU how strong your own feelings are. And what is the measuring board for all this? Can you kinda love someone? Is love an all or nothing thing?
ReplyDeleteI don't know I am only 19 years old!! hahah. But I think it is an all of nothing thing. Love is something that develops over a period of time. Its grows. It is not just something you wake up one day and are like "wow today I am in love with so and so."

ReplyDeleteI definitely believe in love. As for true love, whoever you end up marrying is your true love because you have made a life-long commitment to that person. I don't think there is just one special person out there for everyone. I think there are many special people that a person can connect with, and that it is up to them to decide who they want to be there "true love." No matter who a person chooses, the relationship is going to take sacrifice and commitment because no one is that perfect person.
