Fortune Cookies
I was at a chinese resturant last night with my family and some friends. It was so fun and the food was great. And at the end of the meal everyone got a fortune cookie. We went around the table and all read our fortunes. I started to think; why are we so intrested in what a tiny piece of paper has to say? Do we really think it is going to come true? And if it is a bad fortune do people actually believe something bad is going to happen to them or do they just dismiss it? Who in the world has the right to tell me how MY future is going to play out. Only I can decide that. Not some stupid cookie with a piece of paper in it!!! I wish I could meet the person who writes this fortunes. Becuase I have quite a few things to say!

Your funny lexie but actually the fortune cookie were made because work was very hard and fortune in a cookie made life easier
ReplyDeleteLexie i agree with you about the fact a piece of paper in a cookie can not determine your future at all. Some people just people in this stuff. I think the reason some people do is because maybe their life is not going that good and they are looking for some advice or even some confidence. Good thing these cookies are free because if not it would be a big rip off.

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you Keelo! I would never go out of my way to buy a fortune cookie. And the more I think about it, the more I think its rediculous that people truely believe them.

I Kinda think we all have some what of an ability to look into the future. I believe dreams share a lot about the future...which we all have
